The HTC Vive is one of the VR systems we have enjoyed in our multiple times using it at events but the biggest barrier for most gamers is the cost to purchase one themselves at £759. To help, HTC have offered finance as part of their billing process where gamers can get a Vive of their own for just £34.84 a month (plus shipping). Gamers just need to select “Financing” from the billing page when checking out and the application process should take a few minutes.
HTC have said that no deposit is required, you will pay the Vive over two years and your final amount payable will be £836.19. If you want to find out more on the finance option and the T&Cs then take a look at the HTC Vive finance page on their website.
Every purchase will come with two VR experiences, Richie’s Plank Experience and Everest VR as well as 1 month of free access to the Viveport Subscription service allowing you to pick from five monthly specially selected VR titles.
Additional countries from the EU are due to also be offered the option of finance but there are not dates released yet.
Some of the legal T&Cs are below for the financing.
