Lara Croft Shown In First Official Tomb Raider Movie Pictures

Several details have been released over the last few months regarding the Tomb Raider movie,  which is currently in development by Eidos Interactive, GK Films and MGM Pictures. Earlier today, two new photographs have been released by Vanity Fair showing Alicia Vikander in the title role of Lara Croft, as well as a host of new details surrounding the plot of the film. Seven years after the disappearance of her father Lord Richard Croft, who will be played by Dominic West, Lara travels to his last known location on a mysterious island. When she arrives, Lara is forced to undergo a series of experiences which will eventually shape her into the Tomb Raider that we know and have come to love.

The upcoming movie, which is loosely based on the Tomb Raider reboot which was released back in 2013 is set to be released in cinemas on March 16th 2018.
