Following the positive reception that was awarded to Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth, Bandai Namco have announced that the game will be receiving a sequel next year. Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker’s Memory is a prequel story that takes place before the events of Cyber Sleuth, from the perspective of a group of rogue hackers. All of the previously included Digimon will carry over to the new game, along with several new species of Digimon that have proven popular in other Digimon franchises.

If you missed out on the original game, you will be pleased to learn that Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth will be included with Hacker’s Memory completely free of charge. Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker’s Memory will be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2018.
