Nintendo Switch Battery Life Revealed

After the announcement of the launch details and the catalogue of games that will be available for the Nintendo Switch, one of the most asked questions surrounding the new console is how long you will be able to use it away from the dock with a single charge. During the live event that was held yesterday morning, Nintendo have announced that the battery life of their latest console will range from 2 1/2 hours to 6 hours, depending on the applications that are being used, and the brightness of the display. These figures are quite impressive considering the technology that is at work inside the Nintendo Switch, especially as several of the multi platform games such as FIFA and Steep are visually identical to their PlayStation 4 or Xbox One counterparts.

In case you are curious, the internal battery charges whilst connected to the dock, so you will not have to worry about charging the console whilst you are playing a game on your TV.
