Dishonored 2 is receiving a free update to offer players one of the most asked for features, one which we also wanted in our Dishonored 2 review.

The update which will be available to download worldwide from Monday 19th December for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will bring a new New Game Plus mode. If you have dishonored on PC, the beta download is available now to try out.

Exactly as you’d expect, new game plus allows you to start a new game with either Empress Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano but keep the abilities you unlocked in your game. On top of your abilities, you will also carry over all your Bonecharm Traits and Runes collected from your previous playthrough.

In January there will be further updates to Dishonored 2 which will include two new features, mission select and custom difficulty settings to allow you to tweak your playstyle and challenge. Like the first update which bring new game plus, the second update in January will also cost nothing to the player.
