Corsair Limited RM1000i Special Edition

The last ten years have seen corsair release a flourish of amazing PSU’s, each one after the other becoming better and more powerful. Not only is it their tenth year of selling PSU’s but then have also sold over ten million of them. Because of this extraordinary feat corsair are releasing a special edition for their RM1000i.

Only 100 of these beautiful PSU’s are going to be made, so being able to own one of these beautiful PSU’s is going to be hard.

The Special Edition RM1000i will be finished in Arctic White with white LED’s on the fans. This PSU will maintain all of the key features from the original RM1000i. This PSU will be fully modular, 80 Plus Gold efficient and will use 100% Japanese capacitors.

Specially customized the limited RM1000i special edition will feature a 120mm whisper-quiet fluid-dynamic bearing fan with white LED’s. This PSU will also come with a complete set of matching individually sleeved special edition cables.

New Premium PSU cables.

The RM1000i Special Edition will also see the first feature of the new individually sleeved premium cables for CORSAIR RMi, RMx, and SF series of PSU’s.

These 3rd generation premium cables come in wide variety of colour range. Including, a first for Corsair, dual-colour cables. Corsair customers can choose from black, red, blue, white, blue/black, red/black and black/white. This will make matching your systems design and theme a lot simpler for those of you who are OCD about the colour scheme in your setup. Triple layer mesh paracord sleeving makes these cables extremely flexible for easy cable management, while integrated in line capacitors n the 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS, and all PCI-E cables ensure optimum electrical performance.

These outstanding new cables will come in three different kit ranges. The full-loaded pro package features an individually sleeved 24-pin, two EPS12V 4+4 Pin, two PCIe 6+2 single connectors, two 4x SATA and two 4x peripheral power cables. This will be enough to kit out ANY PC build.

The starter package offers the essential selections of an individually sleeved 24-pin, EPS12V 4+4 Pin and two PCIe 6+2 single connector cables. So you won’t get as many cables with the starter package, but still a decent amount. You are also able to buy every cable individually.

The PSU was released on the 30th November and the cables are available to buy now from the Corsair website and authorized retailers.
