The first three members of the Phantom Thieves, namely the Protagonist, Ryuji and Ann have now received trailers which show their English dubbed voice in action. Earlier today, Atlus have unveiled the fourth English character trailer for Persona 5 which focuses on the feline shape shifter known as Morgana. Working with his codename Mona when part of the team, Morgana was orignally thought to be female, but has now been confirmed as a male character. He is discovered by the thieves when they enter the first Palace, and uses the power of his Persona Zorro to vanquish the evil that stands before him. Although he claims to not be a cat, Morgana has been described as the obligatory animal mascot non human character, following in the footsteps of Koromaru from Persona 3, and Teddie from Persona 4.
When not in the Palace dungeons, Morgana assumes the shape of an ordinary black and white cat who follows the Protagonist everywhere he goes. He also retains the power of human speech, which leads to some comical situations later down the line. His English voice was teased several months ago at E3 2016, and has now been confirmed to be Cassandra Lee Morris. Her previous roles have included Sumono Ujima from Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and Fie Claussell from The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II.
Persona 5 will be released on PS4 and PS3 in Europe on February 14th 2017 through a publishing deal that Atlus have made with Deep Silver, and will retail for £49.99. If you are interesting in seeing more about the game, be sure to visit the official game page on the Deep Silver website.
