After it’s launch in February of this year, Stardew Valley has become one of the most popular indie games of the last few years, with ports scheduled for arrive for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One before the end of 2016. Although smaller updates have arrived for the game since release, this is the first major update to made available for Stardew Valley, bringing it to Version 1.1. As well as including all new characters to romance and new buildings to place on your farm, it is now possible to choose from five different styles of farm when you create your character.
If you own the game via Steam, or have GOG Galaxy installed, the new update will download automatically. Otherwise, you will need to download the new version manually using the instructions provided by your storefront. These new inclusions have only scratched the surface of the new content that has been added, so be sure to load the game as soon as you can to enjoy the upgraded experience for yourself.
