Tales of Symphonia Available Free On Steam This Weekend

At launch, the long awaited PC port of Tales of Symphonia was well received, but there were several bugs and problems with optimisation on release. After there were a few basic fixes, Bandai Namco have today released an update for the game that has dramatically improved the performance of the game. To celebrate this achievement, Bandai Namco have allowed gamers to sample this classic RPG free for this weekend.

This latest patch has added a host of graphical options, as well as smoothing out the frame rate and general performance of the game. Even if you already own the game on the Nintendo GameCube or PlayStation 3, the chance to try out this classic game on PC after some of the major problems have been ironed out is an experience many Bandai Namco fans will not want to miss. As well as this offer on the game, several other games released by the company such as Dragon Ball Xenoverse have been reduced this weekend as part of Steam’s weekend sale promotion.

The PC port of Tales of Symphonia was released on February 1st 2016. If you are interested in trying out the game and then buying it at the reduced price of £5.09, be sure to visit the official game page on the Steam Store. Has the latest patch improved things for Tales of Symphonia on your PC?
