Sword Art Online, popular anime series is coming to mobile devices on iOS and Android Bandai Namco have revealed in Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag .

Fans can currently pre-register their interest in the title over at the Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag official website.  If 30,000 fans or more pre-register for the mobile game then all registrants will be able to receive some in-game items as a rewards for their early interest in the game. Rewards will include a special bonus character for pre-registered players, an Apron and a Knife (the same used by Asuna in the anime series) and 5 memory diamonds which are used to unlock new characters in Memory Defrag.

Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag will be a free (with in-app purchases) multiplayer action RPG where players can experience both stories fro the anime series and an all new storyline just for the mobile title. Familiar players will be back in the game with Kirito, Asuna, Leafa and others working together. Players and friends will be able to work together to take down big bosses with each character having their own special unique skills and abilities.

Memory Defrag will be available on both iOS and Android “soon” (no release date yet) and you can pre-register now over on their website.
