The cast of Persona 5 are no stranger to dressing up in clothes they wouldn’t ordinarily wear, especially during their antics as Phantom Thieves. Atlus officially revealed DLC costumes for the main characters based on the heroes from previous installments of the series. These characters include Yu Narukami from Persona 4, Mitsuru Kirijo from Persona 3, Lisa Silverman from Persona 2 and Yukino Mayuzumi from the original Persona. Last week, Atlus announced that a new DLC pack is on the way for Persona 5 players, and this time it draws attention away from Persona.
If you are a fan of the indie puzzler Catherine, then this new costume and background music ensemble will exactly what the doctor ordered. When the DLC is enabled, the main character will resemble the protagonist of Catherine, Vincent Brooks. Ryuji will take the role of Vincent’s friend Orlando, while Makoto will dress as one of the love interests Katherine. Anne will become the seductress Catherine, while Yusuke dresses as one of Jonathan, one of the patrons of the Stray Sheep bar. Haru dresses as the waitress Erica and Futaba’s clothing will be changed to resemble Tobias. Finally, Morgana the shape shifting cat transforms into a costume that looks like one of the sheep that appeared during the Nightmare stages of the game.
The DLC is currently dated to be available on October 5th, and it will cost 800 Yen. For the first five days it will be completely free to download from the Japanese PlayStation Store. It is not been confirmed if any of the costume DLC will be released when Persona 5 is released in Europe, but considering that Deep Silver also published Catherine in the region, the chances of this DLC arriving for the game are extremely high.
Persona 5 will be released on PS4 and PS3 in Europe on February 14th 2017 through a publishing deal that Atlus have made with Deep Silver, and will retail for £49.99. If you are interesting in seeing more about the game, be sure to visit the official game page on the Deep Silver website.
