Rise of the Tomb Raider 20 Year Celebration Has Gone Gold

Rise of the Tomb Raider

The period of the exclusivity is almost at an end for Rise of the Tomb Raider, after it’s initial release on Xbox consoles last year, and the PC port which arrived in January.  Earlier this week, Square Enix have announced that the PS4 version of the game, labelled as the 20 Year Celebration Edition has gone gold, and will be released worldwide next month. As well as including the entire Rise of the Tomb Raider experience that was available on previous platforms, the PS4 edition will include all the Season Pass content, an all new single player level named Blood Ties set in Lara’s mansion and Lara’s Nightmare, a combat mode which has Lara facing off against several zombies. Square Enix have also confirmed PlayStation VR support for the additional level, and support for the PS4 Pro’s additional hardware, so you will receive an enhanced visual experience if you choose to play on the new version of the console.

Rise of the Tomb Raider 20th Anniversary Celebration will be released on PS4 in Europe on October 11th 2016, and will retail for £49.99. If you are interesting in seeing more about the game, be sure to visit the official game page on the Square Enix store website.
