Update: Bandai Namco have also confirmed that Next Order will come to Europe in 2017.

Bandai Namco today announce the next in the Digimon World series, Next Order which is scheduled to be released sometime in early 2017 for North America.

Players in true Digimon fashion are sucked into the Digital World to find it is under attack from Machinedramons as you are rescued by two Digimon. To a lot of dismay on the announcement trailer via the official YouTube fans of the series are causing backlash that the title has not made its way to PlayStation Vita with the only release being on the PlayStation 4.

Digimon World: Next Order does have a Playstation Vita release in Japan and is probably the reason that fans are not taking it very well with the American version of the game.

Digimon World: Next Order was revealed at a pre-TGS event, at the moment only North America has a release date but hopefully for us in Europe it should not be too far away.
