Frozenbyte the creators of the Trine series are probably pretty excited to announce their next title, Nine Parchments. What they call is magic mayhem,Nine Parchments is a multiplayer co-op blast’em game that brings the studio back to its fantasy roots.

The story is about a group of wizard apprentices that have dropped out of wizard school and decided to skip their training for a quick path to the Nine Parchments. As the wannabe wizards discover new spells and ignore all the safety training, they experience a lot of deaths.

Nine Parchments will be available to play at gamescom 2016 at the Indie Arena and you can get a taste of the action to come in their announcement trailer. Currently under development for PC. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One it is slated for a 2017 release.
