The Warriors, one of the earlier games from Grand Theft Auto developers in the PlayStation 2 and original Xbox era, has been ported to PlayStation 4. Based on the movie of the same name, The Warriors was heralded as one of the best titles of its era.
New York, 1979. A battle on the streets. The armies of the night number 60,000 strong, and tonight they’re all after The Warriors – a street gang wrongly accused of killing a rival gang leader. The Warriors must make their way from one end of New York to their turf on the other side of the city. All that stands between The Warriors and their survival are 20 miles and thousands of street gang members.
This enhanced version of the game adds Trophies, Share Play, Remote Play, Activity Feeds and full 1080p up-rendering however a warning in the product description clarifies it may play slightly differently to the original version due to these changes.
It isn’t the first time The Warriors has been remastered, with a PlayStation 3 edition coming out in 2013. You can find it on the PlayStation Store on your PS4 or purchase it through this link for £11.99.
