Xbox One Receives Flash Sale Price Cut

During the E3 Expo held earlier this month, Microsoft revealed that they would be releasing the Xbox One S, a slimline version of the Xbox One. As well as a smaller physical build, the unit has a higher technical specification, HDR and 4K video support and the ability to upscale Xbox One games to 4K resolution. In order to entice new players to purchase their current generation console, Microsoft has decided to hold a flash sale for the original version of the hardware.

The current recommended retail price of the Xbox One is £299.99, but for the next few days, you can pick up an Xbox One console with FIFA 16, a 3 month membership for NOW TV and a trial subscription code for EA Access for £199.99. According to the third part website ConsoleDeals, this deal is also available at several other retailers with minor variations in the free gifts, such as an Xbox Gift Card or a free game.

Will you be picking up an Xbox One during this flash sale, or will you be waiting until the release of the Xbox One S? Let us know what you think in the comments below, and stay tuned to VGU for more news as it arrives.
