After showing off the in game combat earlier this year, ATLUS have moved away from the fighting for the latest trailer for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. This time around, the story of the game has been brought into focus. In modern day Tokyo, a young man named Itsuki Aoi attends a attend a concert of the idol Kiria with his friend Tsubasa Oribe. During the event, they are transported to the Idolosphere, a parallel world where evil beings known as Mirages drain creative energies known as Performa from unsuspecting humans.

Itsuki and Tsubasa are both able to transfigure a Mirage into an ally, and become Mirage Masters who protect the human race in the process by working together with their super nautral companions. Along the way, they are helped by several other Mirage Masters, and hindered by the Mirages who have drained the Performa of evil individuals. As well as the main storyline, there will be several side stories akin the Social Links from the Persona series, which will allow the Mirage Masters to receive special bonuses.
