Bandai Namco announced new details for their upcoming game, Sword Art Online: Hollow Realisation, based on the visual novel and anime Sword Art Online. If you are not one for anime, Sword Art Online: Hollow Realisation is set in a fictional VR MMORPG in the future. Returning players or fans of the series will jump back into the world and meet well known characters such as Kirito, Asuna and Sinon as well as discovering a new NPC known as Premiere.
Players in Sword Art Online: Hollow Realisation will be able to fully customise their character and Kirito’s in-game avatar which includes when name, gender (if you like the Gun Gale Online look), weapons and appearance.
In the original online mode, your avatar will explore with up to teams of 4 AI characters and undertake quests given to you much like an MMORPG system. Sword Art Online: Hollow Realisation will be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita sometime in Autumn 2016.
