Last year, we reported that the fourth entry in the Shin Megami Tensei series would be receiving a direct sequel named Shin Megami Tensei IV Final. Although fans expected that the new game would eventually arrive in North America and Europe, no official reveal was made at the time by Atlus USA. Today, it has been confirmed that it will be coming to Western countries under a new name, Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse. Like the original SMT IV, it will receive a physical release in North America. For those of us in Europe where the original was a Nintendo eShop exclusive, it will likely depend on how well it is predicted to sell, along with the reception that Shin Megami Tensei IV received on it’s digital release.
