PlayStation 2 classics Manhunt and Bully, or Canis Canem Edit here in the UK, are now available for purchase on PlayStation 4. Priced at £11.99 and sized at 2GB apiece, both have been upscaled to 1080p with remote play and trophy support. So don’t expect remastered editions, they’re definitely the experiences we knew and loved from the early 2000’s.
Bully sees the player control Jimmy Hopkins, a student enrolled at Bullworth Academy. Amongst providing a helping hand to some students whilst being a nightmare for others, Jimmy must attend classes and eventually roam around the nearby town of Bullworth. Bully: Scholarship Edition later released on Xbox 360, PC and Wii.
Manhunt attracted a lot of controversy at launch due to the nature of its graphic, stealth based gameplay. Players control James Earl Cash, an inmate on death row being ordered around by a man known as ‘The Director’ to commit murders in order to ensure his freedom.
Plenty more Rockstar titles are available on PS4 from earlier generations, including Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and San Andreas.
