Square Enix has announced today at the Game Developers Conference that JRPG, I Am Setsuna, will be skipping the PS Vita and coming straight onto the PS4 this summer.
I Am Setsuna is a more traditional JRPG which fans of the genre should keep an eye out for. It comes from Square Enix’s Tokyo RPG Factory which formed in August 2014 with the websites front line being “Everyone fell in love with the RPGs of yesteryear, let’s bring them back.”
Project Setsuna launched in Japan last month and received plenty of Western attention. I Am Setsuna will be digitally released for PlayStation 4 and PC, however the social media links from the official website suggests there will be a physical Collectors Edition.
No date has been given yet but we can expect a summer release. Keep an eye on the website for any further news.
