Hot off the feet of Diablo 2 getting its first new patch in 5 years, we hear news that Blizzard is releasing a patch for an even older title. That’s right, Warcraft 3 is getting a new patch despite being a 14 year old title. This is part of Blizzard setting a legacy games division in order to restore their older titles to glory.

No details have been given as to what the patch will do, but we do know that the patch will release on a worldwide scale on March 15th. The announcement came from a Youtube channel called BackToWarcraft, the channel is dedicated to the coverage and play of Warcraft 3. Check out the announcement video below.
