Strategy board game Carcassonne has been added onto the Xbox One backwards compatible list.

Originally released in 2007 Carcassonne is based on the German board game of the same name and supports 1-4 local players, or 2-5 online players in a fast paced game; building cities, farmlands and road across the medieval landscape.

Such as with other Xbox One backward compatible games, you can download Carcassonne for free if you owned it on the Xbox 360. Otherwise it will set you back $10 or £6.75 from the Xbox marketplace.
