Three Pieces of Fallout 4 DLC Revealed

Enjoying your Fallout 4 experience? Well the Commonwealth is about to get more content for you to enjoy with three pieces of DLC releasing from March through to May. These are known as Automatron, Wasteland Workshop and Far Harbour.

Automatron is the first of the content to come in March. Priced at £8.99/$9.99 this content will add a character from Fallout 3, the Mechanist. He brings along with him the Robobrain from Fallout 3 and New Vegas as he begins to terrorize the Commonwealth with more machinations for you to take on. But that is not all as you can take their robotic parts to construct your own robotic companions. Players will be able to mix between different limbs, armour abilities and weaponry to help in a mix of different situations. Including the new all powerful lightning chain gun. You will also be able to customise their voices and the colour schemes of their armour.

The second DLC comes in the form of the Wasteland Workshop, priced at £3.99/$4.99. Coming in April of this year the content will give players the chance to trap and capture wild creatures of the wasteland. This can include anything from raiders to the all powerful Deathclaws. You can then tame then to become a part of your settlements or to even face your settlements to test their combat efficiency. The Wasteland Workshop will also include a plethora of new options for your settlements including tube lighting, letter kits, taxidermy and more.

So far you can see that the DLC is focused around the construction systems in the game, but the last DLC coming in May is a full adventure. Priced at £19.99/$24.99, Far Harbour is a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency, which puts you on a search for a young lady and a secret colony of Synths. The harbour is found off the coast of Maine and is completely riddled with high amounts of radiation, which has caused a lot of feral creatures to inhabit the area. Players will try to fix the conflict between the Children of Atom and the Synths as the area to explore is the largest add-on that Bethesda has created thus far. New factions quests, creatures, dungeons, armour, weapons and more await you as your choices decide the fate of this inhabited location.

Players who have purchased the Season pass will get all of this content for free. As an added bonus, you can play these add-ons early in their respective beta tests for the console and PC versions. Apply on the Bethesda website for your chance to play these early or simply wait until their release in the coming months to find out what is in store.

Great to hear that the content is coming out sooner than imagined, with a nice mix of upgrades to the weapon and settlement construction as well as the largest area DLC to date. What are your thoughts on the content coming into Fallout 4? Let us know what you think in the comments.
