Oddworld New ‘N’ Tasty Launches on Wii U

It’s time to put your freedom fighting instincts into gear, as Oddworld New ‘N’ Tasty has now arrived on the Nintendo eShop for the Wii U for the reasonable price of £14.99. As an added incentive, the price has been reduced by 25% for the initial week of release.

Originally released for PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms last year, New ‘N’ Tasty is a remake of the PS1 platformer Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee. As well as featuring all the enhanced graphics, music and gameplay that was present in the other versions of the remake, you can choose to play the entire game on the Wii U Gamepad using the Off TV Play feature. If you are interested in seeing how the game translates over to the Wii U, then you can check out the launch trailer below, or visit the official Oddworld Inhabitants website.

The Wii U port of New ‘N’ Tasty was announced last year, and is only the fourth game in the Oddworld franchise to be released on Nintendo platforms after a version of Munch’s Oddysee appeared on the Game Boy Advance. Are you excited to see the Oddworld series return to Nintendo?
