We were always told that Rise of the Tomb Raider would come to the PC platform in “Early 2016”, but I’m pretty sure none of us thought it would come this early into the year. Square Enix announced that Rise of the Tomb Raider would hit the PC platform on January 28th.
The game will be made available via digital download on Steam, the Windows store, Amazon and the Square Enix Store. The game will also ship with 4K resolution support.
Square Enix also announced that the PC version will get a physical release, a digital deluxe version of the game as well as a Collector’s Edition of the title.
The digital download and standard physical copy will cost $59.99 (most likely making it £39.99 in the UK).
The digital deluxe edition of the game retails at $89.99 and will come with the game’s season pass.
The Collector’s edition is similar to the one released for the Xbox One in 2015. It includes the digital deluxe version of the game, a 12-inch Lara Croft statue, replicas of Lara’s journal and necklace and a snazzy steel case. This Collector’s Edition is available on the Square Enix E-Store and will set you back $149.99
