VGU has teamed up with NCSoft to offer our readers 2,500 free Blade & Soul keys which provides entry into the closed beta test which is taking place through December 18th until December 21st.
Blade & Soul is an MMORPG which has been around for a few years in Korea but has been fully localised into English, French and German, to allow players a martial arts based world to explore. The game features 7 different classes with a world surrounding ancient mythologies and different forms of martial arts.
When the game launches the max level will be set at 45 with access to a 1 on 1 PvP arena and two dungeons to explore. Unfortunately these won’t be available in the closed beta at the end of the week. NCSoft is also planning regular updates, maintenance which include a new class, level cap increases and more.
Blade & Soul launches in Europe on Tuesday, January 19, 2016.

To redeem your code (available below) follow these steps:
- Navigate to the NCSoft login page here
- Once you have logged into your existing NC Account or created a new NC Account, you will need to go to your Account Management page and enter the code via the “Apply a Code”” section.
- Once the code has been entered, and you’ve clicked the “Activate” button, you will need to navigate to the “Blade & Soul” tab in the Unused Serial Codes section. From there, click “Apply” on the Closed Beta coupon code.
- You will receive a confirmation email when your code has been applied.
- To check on the status of your Closed Beta code redemption, go to the “Transaction History” section of your Account Management page, and check the tab “Blade & Soul” in the subsection “Serial
Codes.”
