Layers of Fear is now available on Xbox One’s Game Preview Program. Similar to Steam’s Early Access, the program lets you jump into a game before it is fully completed for a proper retail release. The game is said to be about 80% complete and will give gamers two to three hours of game play which is polished.

Updates that are coming are said to be most likely bug fixes and adding additional content which would by maths make that the other 20%. Much like Steam Early Access, the Game Preview Program puts the gamer and developer into the same room allowing communication between the two. This allows gamers the opportunity to help shape the final product of the game.

Layers of Fear is a psychedelic adventure horror game which revolves around a mad painter trying to create the work of his life. As you follow his story you learn about his dark past through crafted personal items in the game. You will move through a constantly shifting house of supernatural phenomena, each movement of the camera can change the environment.

Layers of Fear is available now on Steam Early Access for Windows PC, Mac, Linux, as well as the Game Preview program for Xbox One.
