75,000 People Attended EGX 2015 This Year

EGX 2015 that ran from 24th September to 27th September saw 75,000 people visiting over the four day event, with 40% of visitors attending EGX for the first time.

After seven years based in London, this was the first year that EGX moved to a new home in Birmingham at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) which is based in the middle of the UK with over 200 games to play. 45% of visitors travelled over 100 miles or more to come to the show which brought more business the Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

The show saw playable games from both AAA developers and indie games with additional sections dedicated to eSports, cosplay and developer sessions. Virtual reality, retro games, careers advice and panels also came to the show which gave more for gamers to get their teeth into across the four days. This concluded the largest ever collection of games and game culture features ever in the UK.

With EGX 2015 over the next event is coming to London, EGX Rezzed will be at the Tobacco Dock in London from 7th to 9th April, 2016 with tickets going on sale October 16th.
