During the Sony conference for the Tokyo Game Show something that fight fans were not expecting was subtly revealed. During a showcase revealing a bunch of games both new and old, King of Fighters XIV was amongst them. More shocking than the reveal was that the game seems to be implementing 3D character models for the first time in the series. Embracing more of a direct competitor to that of the Street Fighter series since Street Fighter IV.

We also got the chance to see two of the biggest names of the game trade fists with one another as Kyo went toe to toe with Iori. Fighting game fans out there should be ecstatic for the return of the King of Fighters series on PS4. Whether the series is also going to PC or Xbox One however has yet to be revealed.
