Western Digital Announce 6TB Hard Drive

Today gamers with limited space left on their hard drives will be happy to hear that Western Digital have brought out a 6TB hard drive. The hard drive will be a 3.5 inch, 7200 RPM with 128mb cache with dual stage actuator technology and a 6Gb/s SATA connection.

The 6TB black drive from Western Digital is meant to be up to 29% faster than their previous 4TB model in maximum data rate throughput. It’s also 10% faster in PCMark Vintage.

The drive also features an increased DRAM cache, dual processing for faster read and write speeds and a 5 year warranty. WD Black 6TB (WD6001FZWX) hard drive is available now from selected retailers with a MRSP of $294.00 / £187 (approx.).
