Brother: A Tale of Two Sons has finally been given a release date for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
The fantasy adventure from Starbreeze was originally released on the PC platform back in 2013, publisher 505 games has finally unveiled when the emotional roller-coaster that is Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons will be coming to the next-gen console platform.
505 Games confirmed the title will release on 12th August, it will also be getting a retail release for those who aren’t a fan of digitally downloading titles. The retail release will hit Europe on the 4th September, whilst our American friends across the pond will be getting the retail copy slightly sooner, on September 1st.
The new version of the title won’t be a direct port of the PC version, it will contain some new goodies for us all to enjoy, such as a director’s commentary of the game as well as the beautiful soundtrack of the game and an art gallery option.
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons will also be coming to the mobile market, an official release date has yet to be announced. Though 505 Games is still confident the game will release on iOS, Android and Windows Phone platforms “this holiday season”.
