Lab Zero Announces Indivisible

Lab Zero, developers of the critically acclaimed fighter Skullgirls, have announced their brand new project titled Indivisible. Indivisible is an action RPG where you can control of Ajna, a girl who sets off on a grand, globe trotting adventure after her mysterious power awakens within her. Along her journey, she will meet with various other heroes and defeat hordes of fantastical enemies as she travels across the world.

The developers have said they have taken direct inspiration from RPG and action classics like Valkyrie Profile and Super Metroid in creating Indivisible, combining these design aspects with their typical flair for crafting unique characters and engaging gameplay. While Indivisible does utilise Lab Zero’s beautiful hand 2D animation, the setting and art design of Indivisible is inspired from places not usually covered in mainstream titles. There is a clear South East Asian flavour to Indivisible, taking inspiration from Cambodian and Indonesian mythology to name but a few. Also to note, the music for Indivisible is by Secret of Mana composer Hiroki Kikuta so expect some memorable tunes to compliment Ajna’s adventure.

No news on a release date but the trailer states that an Indiegogo campaign and a playable prototype of the game are coming sometime in early September so stay tuned for that. Make sure to follow Lab Zero and Indivisible on Twitter and like their Facebook for up to date information on this gorgeous looking indie RPG. We will be definitely keeping a watch on this one.
