With the announcement of South Park: The Fractured But Whole, Matt Parker and Trey Stone were invited on stage to discuss their new game. Of course, not opposed to offending, they started off their small segment with a good old swear word, and a complaint about the microphones they were obviously forced to wear.
Luckily, Ubisoft’s Show Host, the wonderful Aisha Tyler, managed to shrug it off and make a joke to quickly move the show along. With the live nature of E3, it is likely the South Park Creators found this to be a great opportunity to offend, and of course, grabbed the chance. Whether or not it is actually a big deal is up for debate, with the visceral, gory trailers that tend to be shown at a lot of E3 , is a swear word or two really that bad?
