After many leaks and rumours, Bandai Namco have officially revealed Dark Souls 3 at Microsoft’s E3 conference. In this cinematic trailer, we saw the ruined landscape of the game and the release date of 2016. It will be interesting to see how the more defensive, medieval combat style of Dark Souls will hold up in a world post Bloodborne. However, this installment is being directed by series creator Hidetaka Miyazaki so it made retain some of the brilliance of Dark Souls 1, rather than the boredom of Dark Souls 2.
