Splatoon Launches A Global Testfire Event

Splatoon, Nintendos exciting and original paint shooting game, currently has a demo available for download. Launching the Nintendo store will lead to prompts to download the “Splatoon Global Testfire”, a beta event that will allow anyone with a Wii U to participate.

However, the demo is only available at particular times over the next couple of days. Currently, Nintendo has said nothing about future “Testfire” events, so if you are eager to swim in ink and shoot up the place with your teams colours, make sure you download the demo now.

The set times are as follows:

GMT – Saturday 9th May

4:00 am – 5:00 am.

12:00 pm – 1:00 pm.

8:00 pm – 9:00pm.

PT – Friday 8th May

8:00 PM – 9:00 PM

PT – Saturday 9th May

4:00 AM – 5:00 AM

12:00 AM – 1:00 PM

As you can see, these times are very limited, so if you want to try before you buy, you had better get ready. However the game itself is due to launch on the 29th of May, so the wait won’t be that long until you can start playing the game in all it’s glory.
With promises of  extra content free of charge after the launch, as well as the singleplayer campaign, there is certainly a lot to look forward to.

The best and final nail in this beautiful coffin, is that if you download the demo now, you will receive a 10% discount of the full retail game if you purchase it on the Nintendo store.
