With its release coming a week on Friday, Bandai Namco has released a meaty launch trailer for its hyped anime fighter, Dragonball Xenoverse. The trailer shows off elements of the game’s saga spanning Story Mode, as well as details about its new characters and the new ‘Create A Character’ feature, which allows you to create your very own Z Fighter to train up, fight and go online with in Dragonball Xenoverse’s expansive online modes.

Dragonball Xenoverse seems to have taken a page out of Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm’s book, staging absolutely enormous boss fights which rival the multi-layered battles you find in the ninja fighter. Expect to not only reenact fan favourite fights like Goku vs Freiza and Gohan vs Cell, but new battles like Goku vs Bills from the recent Battle of Gods movie. Also, recent news has come out that Ghost Nappa from the incredibly popular and funny Dragonball Z Abridged series will feature somewhere in the game, which is a great bit of fanservice for not only hardcore Dragonball fans, but fans of Team Four Star as well.
