The eagerly-awaited sequel to Crystal Dynamics’ 2010 sleeper hit Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris launches on December 9th.
The original game was something of gamble for Crystal as they had an unproven gameplay style – an isometric arcade-style twin-stick shooter with plenty of puzzles – which was totally different to the traditional Tomb Raider gameplay. Luckily it paid off as Guardian of Light is one of the best co-op experiences to come around in recent years.
This latest Lara Croft adventure doubles the number of playable characters, allowing for 4-player co-op during the puzzle-solving arcade adventure. Players control Lara, newcomer Carter, and the Egyptian gods themselves Horus and Isis.
If you’ve ever wanted to play as ancient Egyptian deities blasting mummies away with machine guns, now’s your chance. Lara Croft releases on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on December 9th.
