When it comes to promotion of ther upcoming content, ATLUS have proven themselves more than capable of standing out from the crowd, with unboxing videos, interviews and trailers showing some of the latest features. This tradition is being continued today, with ATLUS releasing five new promotional videos for Persona Q, a JRPG crossover that combines two of the company’s long standing series, Etrian Odyssey and Shin Megami Tensei: Persona.
The first trailer is an unboxing video, showcasing both the regular edition and the “Wild Card” premium edition.
Next on the agenda, the map making feaure from Etrian Odyssey is being given the Persona treatment, although there are a few changes.
The third video to be revealed shows another mechanic that comes from Etrian Odyssey. The FOE’s are enemies that appear inside the labyrinth, and can attack you if you get too close. They are much stronger than the common enemies you will face, so be prepared for a long fight.
The penultimate trailer shows how Persona Q’s battle system works. Fans of both series will delight in the strategies that are possible within each encounter.
If you have any other questions about Persona Q, they will most likely be answered in this final video, hosted by ATLUS’s PR manager John Hardin.
