After it’s release in Japan last year, it was unconfirmed that the PS Vita TV would reach our shores until E3, where they announced the name change to PlayStation TV and an Autumn 2014 release window. Sony have today confimed that the micro-console will debut in Europe on November 14th 2014 for £85.
To get you up to speed, you will be able to play the vast majority of the Vita catalogue through the PlayStation TV, either through downloads stored on a Vita memory card or physical game card. If that wasn’t enough, you can also play PlayStation One games available on the PlayStation Store, and PS4 games through Remote Play if you own a PlayStation 4. To find out the full list of games that you will be able to play, be sure to visit the official PlayStation blog.
To get you started on your semi-portable journey, Sony have included a voucher for Worms Revolution Extreme, Velocity Ultra and OlliOlli to help you fill up the 1GB system storage. Will you be buying the latest addition to the PlayStation family? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
