In tweets from both Ed Boon and NetherRealm Studios today, it has been officially revealed that Mortal Kombat X will be released for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC on the 14th of April 2015. Along with this announcement, it was stated that if you pre-order the game, you will get exclusive access to Goro as a playable fighter.
No news if Goro is only accessible if you pre-order the game but we will no doubt get more news on him as a character in the coming months. This brings the playable roster of characters for MKX up to 9 so far, with Goro being the 5th returning fighter from the series after Kano, Raiden, Sub Zero and Scorpion.
Look out for new Mortal Kombat X news in the coming months as we learn more about this re-imagining of the brutal franchise.
