Codemasters have released the first video of gameplay from Formula One 2014, the latest title in their racing series. The video is the first display of the new sound of Formula One’s new turbocharged engines in video game form, and fans will be eager to hear the difference between real life and video game.
The video showcases a hot lap around the Bahrain track, beautifully lit up as a direct replica of the 2014 Bahrain Grand Prix race event. The final game will include this track with a full day/night cycle, as well as all other changes found in the race calendar for the 2014 Formula One season.
The hot lap allows for the viewing of such a beautiful backdrop courtesy of several cinematic camera shots to be utilised in F1 2014. All the visuals provide the perfect platform from which to enjoy the gorgeous hum of the new engines, which more than do justice to their real life counterpart. The visual and audio beauty available almost allow you to forget the game’s lack of next gen technology. Almost.
