Red vs Blue UK is almost upon us and here is some vital information if you wish to attend. The event is running from the 1st – 3rd August, based in Leicester’s Phoenix Square and The Cookie Jar. There will be a meet ‘n’ greet from 9am each day, so come along and meet some new people, and activities will start from 11am.
Red vs Blue UK will feature casual and competitive card, board, and console gaming, a screening, a series of panels, and an after party, all of which is covered by the ticket price. Weekend tickets are £25, and include access all areas, with a 10% donation being made to an incredible gaming charity. Day tickets are also available for those who can’t attend the whole weekend and they are £15.
This year RvBUK are supporting Special Effect, who are “dedicated to using technology to enhance the quality of life of people with physical disabilities.” Special Effect put it very well: “…we’re not just doing it for the sake of fun. By giving people the means to participate, we’re kick-starting rehabilitation, self-esteem and, most importantly, inclusion.”
There is a special JustGiving page for Special Effect, so you can donate money to this great charity even if you can’t make it to RvBUK.
