Tales of Xillia 2 is less than two months from it’s release in Europe, so BANDAI NAMCO have decided to show us new trailers regarding the main characters of the sequel to the original Xillia. First on the agenda is Ludger Will Kresnik, a chef who lives with his brother Julius and Rollo, their pet cat. His fighting style is a mixture of melee and ranged combat, using artes that combine weapons together for the ultimate effect.

The second character is Elle Mel Marta, a young girl who is journeying to reunite with her lost father in the Land of Canaan. Her fighting style is not shown in the trailer, but she seems to have a magical watch, and seems to get along with Rollo quite well.

The third person to join the group is Jude Mathis, the protagonist from the original Xillia. He mainly uses close combat and magical artes to defeat his opponents.

The final trailer reveals Leia Rolando, a newspaper reporter who has contacts all over Xillia’s 2 main home world. She fights using a long staff, which can do perform  both physical attacks and magical artes.

Tales of Xillia 2 will be released on August 22nd, 2014 exclusively for the PlayStation 3. Will you be joining these characters on their journey? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
