Announced last night at the Super Smash Bros Roundtable, Masahiro Sakurai announced that Pac-Man will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS. His design is based off his appearance in Pac-Man World and his moves will utilise not only his Ghost pals, but from other characters from Namco games like the ships from Galaga.

From the trailer shown at the roundtable, the 3DS version of the game will receive a stage based on the original Pac-Man arcade game while the Wii U version will receive a stage based off Pac-Man Land.
