The original Ace Attorney trilogy is widely regarded as one of the finest adventure game series on any platform, let alone the Nintendo DS. While an English HD version of the game was released on Apple devices a few years ago, it seemed that the 3DS remake of the trilogy would remain exclusive to Japan. That was until today, as an English port of the compilation has now been confirmed for a Winter 2014 release, and given an all new trailer to make us long to shout “Objection!” once more.

As well as the graphical uplift, it seems we will be able to hear new versions of the serie’s memorable soundtrack. Whether the original graphics or music will be available is currently unknown, but regardless, there will be no objections to see Phoenix Wright return to defend the wrongly accused.

In a similar fashion to Duel Destinies, the game will be exclusive to the Nintendo eShop. Some fans may not be pleased at this revelation, but many will be happy to see the enhanced adventure reach our shores.
