In the latest patch for The Elder Scrolls Online, V1.0.6, Bethesda and Zenimax Online are continuing to crack down on gold spammers and bots, while ironing out a multitude of bugs. Bethesda have commented, ‘we are continuing to improve our fight against bots and gold spammers, and appreciate your patience and understanding,’ and as a temporary measure, private messages have been disabled.
The bulk of the update is to fix broken quests and unresponsive commands, as well as improving general game performance. As well as all the fixes, there are some small minor tweaks made to the game, including players not being able to create guilds until level 10 and lowering the level requirements needed for certain quests.
The patch was due to roll out today but has since been delayed. However, be sure to keep an eye out for the update over the next few days. For the full list of changes on the way and to stay up-to-date on the spammer activity, check out the full patch notes on the Elder Scrolls Forums.
