Indie studio Born Ready Games have announced the launch of Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut, which is available now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC via Steam.
Strike Suit Zero is also the first game to be releasing under Microsoft’s ID@Xbox indie program, a new initiative which allows developers to self-publish their titles on the Xbox One.
Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut is being described as ‘the definitive Strike Suit Zero experience for the latest console generation’ by Born Ready Games. This new version contains new ship models, complete with sexy new next-gen textures and lighting, as well as a ‘restructured campaign mode’. The Director’s Cut also includes two additional Strike Suit variants, the Marauder and the Raptor, and even comes complete with an additional campaign arc, entitled Heroes of the Fleet.
Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut is available for £15.99/€19.99 on Xbox One, £15.39/€17.99 on PlayStation 4 and £14.99/€18.99 on PC.
The original Strike Suit Zero launched back in January 2013 after a successful Kickstarter campaign which raised over $174,000, almost doubling the original $100,000 goal. The backer who pushed them over their original goal was Steven Masters, Lead Designer on Assassin’s Creed 3. I guess that goes some way to towards his repentance for AC3 then.
