Sony PlayStation has released new details on the Drakengard 3 Collector’s Edition on the PlayStation Blog. Initially a collector’s edition was not planned for the title in Europe, but after upset customers spoke up the company is “ready to announce that in response to that feedback, we will be releasing a Collector’s Edition for Drakengard 3 in Europe, and that it will feature the Japanese voice-over content too.”

The Collector’s Edition will include:

Clamshell Box- An eloquent display case featuring the flower that grows from Zero’s eye.

Novella- An illustrated 160 page hardback prequel story to Drakengard 3 featuring a collection of short stories each written from the perspective of each character.

Add-on Pack- Downloadable tokens for the Ciam costume, an additional level where you can play as One, Zero’s sister, and a Giant Baby Hat for your dragon.

Music Sampler CD- Containing a selection of tracks from the game’s original soundtrack.

Double Sided Poster- A collectable double sided poster only available in this pack.

Japanese Voice DLC- A chance to experience the game with its original audio with a download token for the original Japanese voice acting.

…and of course the game itself. The Collector’s Edition will be available exclusively from the Square Enix store, but is limited with only 2,000 in production.
