Microsoft announced today that April’s Games With Gold will feature two more impressive than usual titles, in the form of Hitman: Absolution and Deadlight.
First up for Gold subscription holders will be the stealth title, Hitman, which will be available from April 1st until the 15th. Arcade survival-horror Deadlight will be following, taking us up to the end of the month.
While Hitman: Absolution is a bigger title than we’re used to seeing in Games With Gold, it arguably isn’t a huge game-changer, as it can be picked up for low prices in most retailers. Never the less, free is better than cheap, and it is still a huge step in the right direction for Microsoft’s freebies. Hopefully April’s offerings mark the beginning of bigger and better titles becoming available as the Xbox 360 slowly gives way to the Xbox One.
